Inspiring Excellence in Engineering

The UKSEDS annual regional event brings together student societies with a shared passion for space for a full day of learning, collaboration, and connection. Whether you’re part of an established society or just getting started, this event offers the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded students, exchange experiences, and become part of the UK’s growing space community.

This year’s theme, “Inspiring Excellence in Engineering”, celebrates the incredible work being carried out by student societies across the region. The event will also feature industry and academic professionals who will share their expertise, career journeys, and passion for space-related engineering.

Throughout the day, attendees will take part in a programme of talks led by space lecturers and industry professionals, offering insight into:

• Careers in the space sector
• Current research and innovation
• Key engineering challenges facing the industry

There will also be dedicated time to:

• Network with other student societies
• Explore student-led project showcases
• Share your own work with the wider UKSEDS community
